A Minecraft Movie official trailer launches November 19, 2024
The official Minecraft X handle has announced that the trailer for A Minecraft Movie will be released on November 19, 2024. The post contains a video providing behind-the-scenes insight into the movie and its caption mentioned that the trailer would be released "tomorrow," but does not mention a specific time.
The teaser that was released earlier was mostly a miss amongst the fans. They did not like how everything looked — from the texture, and animation, to the cast and their dialogues. The second trailer is likely to reveal some new parts of the movie, and it might just change the air. Here’s everything about the X post and the upcoming trailer.
Minecraft movie trailer is releasing tomorrow
The three-minute-long video shared by Minecraft’s official X handle features some interesting footage. It shows a few crucial snippets from the vision behind the movie. Perhaps the best part of the video was how it showed various props and set pieces used in the movie.
Players can get an idea about how the makers are using practical effects and not going with the CG route all the way. However, this does not mean that fans are happy about the general direction of the film. A lot of them wanted the movie to be completely animated. They also believed that the inclusion of real people made the whole idea messy.
This was further worsened when players got the first look at the teaser for the movie. A majority of the fans were vocal about how Jack Black did not fit the role of Steve. Black was seen with long salt and pepper hair and a full beard. This was very different from how the character appears in-game.
A lot of the players said that it looked like Jack Black in a blue T-shirt. Perhaps a proper trailer might change what fans are thinking about the game.
