Minecraft 1.21.2 gets second release candidate ahead of the official release
The much-awaited Minecraft 1.21.2 update has gotten a second release candidate ahead of its official release (expected to drop this week). Mojang has stated that if no other major issues are encountered, players can expect this to be the final release version for the official game update drop.

Bug fixes in Minecraft 1.21.2 second release candidate
The Minecraft 1.21.2 update addresses a few minor bugs as part of the release candidate. Hopefully, this is the final edition to be officially pushed out as the Bundles of Bravery drop given that no other critical issues are found.
As part of the bug fixes, the second release candidate addresses an issue where the player's OnGround tag did not update when riding a vehicle. Additionally, the issue of the sound of breaking leaves on a riding mob not playing has been resolved. The issue where block break block updates stopped working in a chunk has been rectified as well.
The 1.21.2 update introduced a host of experimental features, including ones affecting Minecart behavior. As part of the second release candidate, the bug where the Minecart's behavior was altered despite turning off experimental mode has been addressed.
When is Bundles of Bravery coming to Minecraft?
According to the changelog in the second release candidate, Mojang expects to release Bundles of Bravery later this week if no other major bugs or critical issues are detected.
Release candidates are generally considered the final version that players get upon release, and with a second version just out, players may look forward to the update arriving on their favorite gaming device within the week.
