Minecraft reveals terrifying and creepy Pale Garden biome
The wait is finally over for Minecraft players as one of the most anticipated features of the upcoming update has been revealed. Mojang Studios is planning to add a new biome to the overworld called the “Pale Garden,” and it brings a very interesting hostile mob called the “Creaking.” Here is everything about the new biome and what makes it such a great addition.
Minecraft will get the Pale Garden biome
As the name suggests, Pale Garden will be a desaturated biome with blocks that almost look black and white. The dirt blocks look more like diorite. Additionally, the biome brings a new wood type called the “pale oak wood.”
The Pale Garden is interesting as it is quite normal during the daytime but becomes scary and dangerous at night. The Creaking mob comes out at night and is quite difficult to handle.
The Creaking does not move when the player is looking at it. But when the eye contact is broken, it sneaks up and attacks them. Worse yet, attacking it directly does not cause any damage. The only way to kill it is by destroying the Creaking heart, an item inside the pale garden.
The Creaking heart is located somewhere in the desaturated trees of the pale garden. Players must keep an eye on the Creaking while traversing the pale garden to locate the Creaking heart.
Minecraft will get frequent updates
Mojang Studios recently announced how they will change the game's update structure. Instead of being held every year, Minecraft Live will be held twice a year.
Another important change is how the updates will be delivered. The developers will aim for smaller, more frequent updates instead of one major yearly update. This is great news for Minecraft players as they will likely get more new features quickly, which helps keep the game fresh and fun. However, the most impactful change is Mob Vote's retirement.
Mob Vote was an important aspect of all Minecraft Live events where players could vote for the mob they wanted. However, the downside was the loss of all the mobs that were voted out. With the Mob Vote scrapped, it would be interesting to see how Mojang Studios would be adding new mobs to the game and to what extent fans would have a say in it.
