"No way Minecraft is making Tower of Babel canon": Fan discovers incredible 200-blocks tall pillager outpost

Minecraft players often come across some bizarre structures in the blocky game due to some bugs. Most of the time, this does not affect the gameplay. However, these strange structures can be so astounding that players cannot help but share these finds with others.

A Minecraft player and Redditor, u/pushupi123, shared some images on the subreddit of the game. The pictures showed a bizarrely tall pillager outpost spawned near a large mountain. The caption of the post said that this was the tallest pillager outpost ever generated.

The original poster mentioned that it was found in their Creative world and added the seed for it as well. The outpost was so tall that the terrace was above the clouds. The coordinates in the images show that the tower is almost 200 blocks tall.

Reacting to this unique find, user u/MasterCookieShadow commented:

“No way Minecraft is making Tower of Babel canon ... they need to put it in the Minecraft Bible”

For those who are unaware, the Tower of Babel is a very large mythical tower that is mentioned in the Old Testament’s Book of Genesis. It contains explanations for the existence of different languages and cultures all around the world.

Another user u/Theriocephalus wrote a funny comment explaining how the pillagers must have talked while making this tower.

User u/Im_Zelta added to this fictional exchange by saying that the pillagers must have said that there is a mountain nearby and they can build the structure there instead.

User u/Ericristian_bros recalled a seed that had a floating island with a pillager outpost, mansion, ocean temple, stronghold, and village as well.

Rare structures in Minecraft

Minecraft is a procedurally generated game. This means that most of the structures such as the villagers, desert temples, pillager outposts, etc., that players come across are generated based on an algorithm. This is why Minecraft is massive with its borders being so far away from the spawn point.

That said, the algorithm works on certain rules that define where to spawn what structure, along with their dimensions. Sometimes, bugs can mess up these instructions resulting in bizarre structures. One example was recently shared in the same subreddit where a player found the warden inside the trial chambers. Thankfully, such bugs are rare.
