Odd Minecraft Bedrock glitch causes player to phase through blocks

Minecraft, like every game, has its share of bugs. These glitches aren't always a big deal and usually lead to hilarious gameplay experiences, but sometimes they seriously impact gameplay. Redditor TerpleDerp2600 exemplified the Bedrock Edition's horrible bugs by sharing a hilarious video on Minecraft's subreddit.

The caption detailed the issue, saying the player was knocked into a lava pit by an enderman the first time they entered the nether. Then, they decided to build a protective structure to avoid a similar situation. However, a glitch caused the player to phase through the block and fall into the lava lake.

Reacting to this clip and the unfortunate bug, Katsuro2304 said the original poster (OP) has some great skill to remain calm and survive the fall in such a situation.

OP wrote a lengthy comment about the whole situation. They advised players to be cautious and ready for anything dangerous in a high-stakes situation. Having ender pearls, a bucket of water, or elytra in the hot bar is the best option. However, despite having everything, OP seemed frazzled by the enderman and the bug.

frankhorrigan3303 rhetorically asked why Mojang decided to add Hardcore mode to this version. For those who do not know, the Bundles of Bravery update added the challenging mode to Bedrock Edition after more than a decade-long wait.

OP replied by saying since there was a massive demand from the players, Mojang had to do it. However, they wished the developers had done better bug-fixes and refinements beforehand. The original commenter agreed with this take and added that while playing Bedrock Edition, they always used the Keep Inventory mod.

Minecraft recently got the Bundles of Bravery update that added two long-awaited things: the bundles item and the game's Hardcore Mode to the Bedrock edition. This was an exciting update as players had been waiting for it for years.

However, the developers did something even better by announcing the Winter Drop that will soon arrive in the game. It brings a new biome called the Pale Garden, a new hostile mob called the Creaking, and a host of new items such as the Creaking Heart, the eyeblossom flower, and the resin block.
