"Please burn your PC": Realistic Minecraft Steve design leaves the community cringing

While Minecraft is a great game, one thing that it is not is realistic. Mojang Studios created the game with a unique blocky design which meant that everything in the game represented something from the real world but looked completely different. This includes blocky mobs to Steve's appearance. But what happens when someone creates a realistic model of Steve to make him resemble a human?

A player who goes by zucchini_ackerman on Reddit shared a couple of images on the Minecraft subreddit showing a model that makes Steve look more “real” but with the Vanilla game skin. Suffice it to say, the model looks extremely uncanny with its long legs and arms.

This comment expressed their disgust towards Steve's bizarre and downright creepy look. u/trickstercrows said this model looked disgusting but they really wanted to use it in their game. u/LamaRoux34 asked why the model was so thin as Steve has always been bulky.

User u/DEADLocked90000 jokingly said that looking back, the teaser trailer for the Minecraft movie does not look too bad after seeing this. This is a reference to how players do not like how everything looks. Another user named ThorneHaw asked the original poster to delete this as soon as they could before it evolved into something worse. u/iambackbaby69 said the same thing.

u/temporaryaccount8889 said that the model looked like someone took the model of Steve from the game and ran it over by a road roller while u/Acceptable_Tomato817 asked the OP to destroy it using any method with urgency.

u/Gardenasia said that they hate this model while user u/MrCharles_ pleaded with the original poster to stop making these things in a joking way. Another user named -Redstoneboi- joked that the model was inaccurate as it was not based on Jack Black’s proportions. Jack Black is playing the character of Steve in A Minecraft Movie.

It seems that some players in the game’s community enjoy creating these horrific things. Recently, another talented player had created a mob that resembled a large creature with tentacles and others called it the Mind Flare from the popular Netflix series Stranger Things. One can imagine what would happen if Mojang Studios officially added something like this in one of the upcoming updates.

With the ability to add custom mobs and items to the game, it is often quite astonishing to see what players come up with. A lot of them are hoping some new mobs to be added in the upcoming 1.22 update.
