"So disappointed": Unlucky Minecraft player discovers tiny Pale Garden with a single tree
Minecraft is getting a new biome called the Pale Garden, with its Winter Drop update. However, players can download the Preview and Beta updates to try all the upcoming features. However, this comes with a caveat. Since these versions are not final yet, features can change down the line and might currently be buggy.
A Minecraft player and Reddit user named u/DeigoTheKid shared an image on the title's subreddit, showing how they found the new Pale Garden biome in the Preview version of the game. While the photo showed just one Pale Oak tree in the middle of a forest, the Pale Garden is, in fact, supposed to be a biome with many Pale Oak trees.
The original poster explained how they wanted to see the new biome but was shocked to find just one tree. Their feelings were reflected in the title of the post, which said:
"So disappointed"
Reacting to the post, user u/carry-on-reading-pls humorously commented that this was the Pale Tree, and not the Pale Garden.
Another user, u/WolfSilverOak, said that there are cases when Cherry Groves are just one cherry blossom tree, so finds like these are not unheard of. However, they confirmed that this was still disappointing.
User u/greenthegreen asked whether this Preview was available for the Bedrock Edition or just for the Java Edition. User u/AMinecraftPerson replied that this image shows the Bedrock Edition. The Pale Garden biome, along with the Creaking mob, is available for download for both the Java and the Bedrock Edition.
User u/Jaybrosia came up with an interesting concept, saying that it would be cool if there was a way for the tree to spread.
User u/Slinkycoment39 replied saying that this was a great idea and it could work like Terraria’s Corruption.
Winter Drop for Minecraft
The Pale Garden biome is a part of the upcoming Winter Drop that Mojang Studios announced during the Minecraft Live event. The update comes with a brand new biome and a new mob called the Creaking.
The Creaking does not take any damage from normal attacks, no matter what weapon the player uses. The only way to defeat this mob is by breaking or destroying the Creaking Heart, nestled somewhere in the Pale Garden biome.
