"There's high risk and zero reward": Minecraft fans have mixed feelings about Pale Garden and Creaking

Minecraft will soon get a new biome called the Pale Garden, alongside a hostile mob called the Creaking. The introduction of a new mob and a biome is always exciting for the players, but currently, it seems that fans have some mixed feelings. Some players are questioning the point of this biome, while others want to know what in the Pale Biome will compel players to go and face the Creaking.

A Minecraft player and Reddit user named u/Farming_Cowboy_Frog posted an image of the Creaking on the title's subreddit. They asked the community why they should be exploring the Pale Garden.

Am I stupid or is the only reason to come here to grab a sapling? Why should we explore it?

The original poster also mentioned how the new biome was risky, but with little to no rewards:

“There’s high risk and zero reward. I’ll just go around this biome if I find it. Anyone else?”

Contrastingly, user u/Eryalox believed that there was actually no risk element in going to the Pale Garden as the Creaking mob barely does any damage. Another user named u/_Devil_us_back believed that these features would be improved by the time the final update was done.

User _Blackrobe_ said that people might come back to this post months later after Mojang Studios improved the Creaking and the Pale Garden. According to them, players would understand that their assumptions were wrong.

User u/Copperjedi had some suggestions for Mojang Studios. They wanted the Pale Garden to have structures like a castle or a maze to make it more interesting and worth exploring. User u/Alpham300 said they think the name of the biome fits perfectly for ancient structures. The addition of something like the Hanging Gardens of Babylon would be great, according to them.

Minecraft Live revealed everything about the upcoming Bundles of Bravery update. The update will finally add two of the most requested features and items: the bundles, and the Hardcore mode for the Bedrock Edition. The bundles were announced way back in 2020, and it took Mojang Studios four years to add them to the game.

But that’s not all. The Java edition of the game has had Hardcore mode for more than a decade, while the Bedrock Edition is only getting it now. Apart from these additions, the developers have also announced some major additions that will be coming to the game in the future. This includes the Pale Garden biome and the Creaking mob.
