Upcoming Minecraft drop to be a big update for builders
After releasing the Minecraft Bundles of Bravery game drop, Mojang is gearing up to welcome their upcoming unnamed drop during winter. Most of the features that will arrive in the upcoming drop have already been showcased and released in snapshots and beta/preview versions. By the looks of all of them, it is safe to say that the next game drop will be massive for those who love to build.
Here is what the upcoming Minecraft drop will feature and why it is great for builders.

Why Minecraft builders will rejoice after Winter Drop releases
New wood type with Pale Garden's new trees
Minecraft's upcoming Winter drop will feature a new Overworld biome called Pale Garden. This is a brand new region that will have an eerie feeling to it since all the trees and blocks will be in black and white shades. Even the sky will turn white when players enter this biome.
In Pale Gardens, new pale oak trees will be generated, which will have new logs that will be dark gray from the outside and white from the inside. These new logs can then be converted into various wood blocks. These are the first white wood blocks in the game, which many builders would appreciate. Pale oak trees can be chopped by players for crafting fences, doors, trapdoors, steps, slabs, planks, and more.
As of now, players can only use concrete or quartz blocks for white tones in a build. Now, however, there is a much easier way to get white oak wood blocks through Pale Garden.
New resin blocks
Resin is another new material arriving with Minecraft's Winter drop. It will generate in the new Pale Garden biome whenever the new Creaking mob is struck. Since the Creaking mob has its heart block in one of the pale oak trees, it will take energy from the block whenever hit. This will cause the heart block to secrete resin around the pale oak log blocks.
Resin clumps can then be obtained from pale oak trees with any tool or bare hands. This item can then be smelted into resin bricks, which can then be crafted into various resin brick blocks like stairs, slabs, chiseled, and more. This will also become a brilliant building block that players can use. Resin blocks will give a unique color contrast to a build because of its bright orange color.
