4 Fighters Confirmed to Represent India at BRAVE 9
Brave Combat Federation has announced that four major fighters will represent India at the upcoming event which will be a part of the Brave International Combat Week to be held in Bahrain.
The event will feature sixteen fights taking place during the fight night making it the biggest in the history of MMA in the Middle East.
All the four fighters will be facing international fighters making the addition more challenging and showcasing the next level of transition for the growth of Mixed Martial Arts in India. Mumbai had hosted the fifth edition of Brave Combat Federation where seven athletes of Indian nationality or origin was featured.
However, Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champion marks the second time more than a single fighter of Indian representation is featured in the fight card.
#1 Mohammed Farhad
Mohammed Farhad trains with Team Relentless in Mumbai and is referred as the prodigy of Indian Mixed Martial Arts. Farhad holds the longest winning streak for an Indian national in the history of Mixed Martial Arts.
The TKO streak of Mohd Farhad had been second to none in India. He will face Hamza Kooheji at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions.
Mohammed Farhad also holds the record in Brave Combat Federation for the fastest knockout when he decimated Irfan Khan at Brave 5 held in Mumbai, in just 40 seconds. Known for his precise striking skills combined with formidable Muay Thai background, he will be facing a wrestler, which will make it an interesting matchup.
Farhad is one of the most complete fighters in India, who developed devastating striking power under the mentorship of Abdul Muneer and quality grappling skills from the coaching of Jitendra Khare of Team Relentless.
