In an attempt to begin his third reign as the IBF heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua will face current titleholder Daniel Dubois on Sept. 21. The two fighters will compete for the only heavyweight title not currently owned by previous undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Both fighters are on small win streaks, with Joshua winning four straight and Dubois riding two consecutive knockout victories. Dubois won the vacant IBF interim title in his last bout with Filip Hrgovic and was later promoted to full champion with Usyk vacating the belt to pursue a rematch with Tyson Fury.
