Chael Sonnen explains controversial tweets
We finally have an answer for the expletive-ridden tweets against Dana White, Conor McGregor, and other UFC stars from Chael Sonnen's X account.
Taking to his YouTube channel, Sonnen claimed that his account was "hacked" and also revealed a bizarre demand that the alleged hacker made to stop their antics.
"I’ve been hacked. Well, I’ve been hacked by a friendly hacker. Like, the hacker himself has got a hold of me to let me know that it is him and that if I would like the passwords back, all I need to do is say to him 'I would like the passwords back'."
Sonnen added that he has not obliged the hacker fearing that his response would somehow grant the hacker "greater access" to his private life.

WBC expels Ryan Garcia after racist tweets
Ryan Garcia is making a habit of getting into trouble left, right, and center after a string of controversial comments with racial connotations. While serving a one-year suspension due to a positive drug test, Garcia used the N-word and made racially charged statements about George Floyd on Clubhouse, among other things.
The insensitive remarks did not sit well with the boxing community. He received an immediate expulsion from the World Boxing Council. The WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman wrote on X:
"Exercising my authority as president of the WBC, I am hereby expelling Ryan Garcia from any activity with our organization. We reject any form of discrimination. I fear for Ryan well well-being as he has declined multiple attempts for our help with mental health and substance abuse."
Garcia's parents also issued a statement on the boxer's comments, although they blamed his mental health struggles for the recent transgressions.
"I f***ed up" - Eric Nicksick on Dan Ige's fight at UFC 303
Coach Eric Nicksick knows he may have jeopardized Dan Ige's chances at UFC 303 with a wrong corner advice.
Ige took on Diego Lopes in a no-notice co-main event fight after Brian Ortega was taken ill. Speaking about the fight on the Anik & Florian Podcast, Nicksick recalls that he has been regretting a judgment call taken during the contest. He said:
"To be honest with you, I’ve been having a little bit of sleepless nights because I f***ed up... In round two, I called for the same side head kick... It was the same side high when Dan went southpaw. And he threw it, and the shin bone landed on this dude’s head but we got taken down. And I looked over at Kai and I’m like, I just f***ed us. Dude, my gut, I was like, I just f***ed this man, my heart hurt."
Despite the takedown, Ige fought Lopes off his back and prevented submission attempts throughout the three minutes of control time. However, the round was scored by UFC judges in favor of Lopes, which ended up costing him the fight as well.
