"Coming back with vengeance" - Fans cook up potential super fights from bantamweight kickboxing king Jonathan Haggerty
Reigning ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty is back at the gym sharpening his striking skills after he yielded the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title to rival Superlek Kiatmoo9 in his previous bout at ONE 168: Denver.
The world's largest martial arts organization posted a short clip of his intense pad work on Instagram, and they wrote in the post's caption:
""The General's" hands are on fire 🔥 What's in store for Jonathan Haggerty? @jhaggerty_"
The video highlighted the power and accuracy of 'The General,' and he uncorked a vicious combination of punches and elbow strikes that echoed throughout the gym.
This made the fans hyped for his possible return to action, and users also responded to the question that ONE Championship posted on their caption as they put their matchmaking hats.

Jonathan Haggerty grateful to have an incredible support system, especially at tough times
The Keddles Gym, Knowlesy Academy, and Team Underground-affiliated athlete were dealt a tough and painful defeat at the hands of 'The Kicking Machine,' but he still has a lot of things to be thankful for, especially his inner circle who is always there for him in his professional journey.
In his appearance on the Sky Sports MMA Club podcast, Haggerty shared how his support system has helped him tremendously in moving on from that loss, as he stated:
"It was good, they knew when to leave me and when to be around. We managed it quite well to be fair."
