Dana White and Scott Coker on Fedor returning to MMA, UFC heading to WrestleMania 32 stadium?
- Following Wednesday night's UFC Fight Night event, UFC President Dana White was asked about Fedor Emelianenko returning to MMA and if the UFC would try to pursue him. White simply answered, "we'll see what happens, we'll see how this thing plays out." You can check it out in the video above at the 1:45 mark.
- Bellator President Scott Coker also discussed Fedor returning to MMA on SiriusXM Fight Club, which you can listen to here. Coker said that they weren't currently talking to Fedor, and noted that there were multiple organizations interested in him. Coker stated that Fedor recently told him that he wanted to fight.
"He [Fedor] was just kind of poking at me, going 'maybe I'll fight one more fight'," Coker said. "I said, 'well, when you want to fight, let me know.' He's a complete free agent, so he's going to shop his services and I know there's multiple organizations that would love to have a fighter like Fedor. We'll see what happens, right now everything is up in the air."
- It looks like the UFC might be beating WWE to AT&T Stadium outside of Dallas, the site of WrestleMania 32. Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports! is reporting that the UFC is looking to have the UFC featherweight championship fight between champion Jose Aldo and interim champion Conor McGregor take place at the stadium. UFC is apparently looking to have the fight take place at UFC 194 on December 5th and wanted to have it take place at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, however that date was booked for an Andrea Bocelli concert.
