Israel Adesanya says God protected him from a Diddy collaboration

Israel Adesanya shared with Joe Rogan and his podcast listeners that he almost got into a collaboration with Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs, but it never came to fruition and he's grateful for it. The musician has been the center of an ongoing investigation on charges of sex trafficking, underage prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy on which he has been denied bail twice.

Speaking on episode 164 of Rogan's podcast, JRE MMA Show, the former UFC middleweight champion revealed he got a direct message from Diddy after he beat Alex Pereira in their UFC rematch last year:

"After I knocked out [Alex] Pereira in Miami, we went to Tootsies the next night and they were like, 'Yo, P. Diddy was here watching your fight last night. I was like, 'What! Crazy!' When I checked my DMs, I saw he hit me up. He was talking about two months later he wanted to do an interview or whatever and I said, 'Here's my manager's number.' Nothing ever came off it... God be protecting me."

Conor McGregor teases huge boxing payday amid delayed UFC return

No one knows if Conor McGregor will ever be back in the UFC. Even Michael Chandler, who confidently waited a long time to welcome the Irishman back to the promotion, has now moved on and taken a UFC fight with Charles Oliveira.

McGregor, meanwhile, has shown interest in a two-fight deal with Terence Crawford. After his initial claim, 'Bud' confirmed that the conversation took place and he refused to lock heads with the former double-champion inside an MMA cage.

In an Instagram comment, McGregor further revealed that if the fights happen, it would be worth $100 million each - one in MMA and the second in boxing:

"Big respect to @tbudcrawford! $100million dollars a fight, 1 MMA, 1 boxing. $200million dollars!"

Crawford responded to the UFC star's comment:

"@thenotoriousmma tempted"

Oscar De La Hoya issues statement on Devin Haney's lawsuit

Devin Haney filed a lawsuit against Ryan Garcia alleging battery, fraud, and breach of contract, citing the latter's drug violation in their boxing match this past April.

The filing, written by Haney's attorney Pat English, demands Garcia return his guaranteed purse to Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions and 47% of the funds be shared with the plaintiffs as per contract.

In response, De La Hoya issued a statement on Instagram:

"Enough is enough! Every fighter who has worked with Golden Boy has always been paid exactly what they are owed and given all the documents they were entitled to. Period! Any suggestion to the contrary is simply false. If the Haneys are still having trouble understanding their contract, we will be happy to walk them through it, again."
