Michael Bisping reacts to ongoing legal battle between Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov
Conor McGregor's ongoing lawsuit with former friend and training partner Artem Lobov has been dominating the MMA headlines and Michael Bisping has now weighed in on the situation between the fighters.
'The Notorious' has made a life outside of the octagon for himself and is considered quite the businessman having successfully masterminded a number of companies progress. His most notable, without a doubt, is his Irish whiskey brand named Proper No. Twelve, though it is now currently in the middle of a legal battle.
In response to a fan on social media, Michael Bisping admitted that he is disappointed with the current feud between Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov, insisting that friends turning on one another is "f***ing ridiculous".
McGregor has made a large amount of money from a number of businesses, but arguably most of it has come from his Proper No. 12 whiskey business venture. Despite the alcoholic beverage's success, it has caused the megastar a headache over recent weeks.
According to Artem Lobov himself, he was instrumental in the entire whiskey brand's success and, due to not receiving credit, is now suing the former two-division UFC champion for millions.
Just like most places in the world, the Irish would do anything to keep those close to them happy and are strongly family-oriented people, which makes the falling out between McGregor and 'The Russian Hammer' an unfortunate piece of news.
The legal battle is currently ongoing between the two and all indications are pointing towards Lobov's claims being dismissed and the opposition walking away with the victory in court.
A history of Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov's friendship
The relationship between the two SBG Ireland representatives blossomed when Artem Lobov was brought back into the 'TUF 22' house by his friend and corresponding season head coach following his earlier preliminary loss.
Three fights later and the tough featherweight found himself in the finale after scoring back-to-back knockouts of James Jenkins, Chris Gruetzemacher, and Julian Erosa, all with Conor McGregor by his side.
His run in the UFC came to an end with an unimpressive 2-5 record, but he still had backing from his friend every step of the way. Their relationship grew sour, prompting Lobov to file his lawsuit and ignite a feud between the two, which prompted a fight proposal from the UFC star, though it went unanswered.
