Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen sued for allegedly punching employee in the jaw at Four Seasons Hotel
Chael Sonnen appears to be in trouble with legal authorities again following allegations that he assaulted a hotel employee at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas.
The news was broken by MMAFighting.com, who reported that Joshua Olds had filed a civil complaint against Sonnen and unnamed parties earlier this month. The hotel employee alleged that Sonnen's friend had instigated a physical altercation where he and the former UFC fighter both attacked and punched Olds.
He incurred "serious physical injuries that necessitated significant medical treatment." Sonnen has not been arrested, but faces four counts of misdemeanor battery.

In December last year, Chael Sonnen was involved in a physical altercation at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. 'The American Gangster' faced 11 separate charges stemming from the incident, including a felony charge of battery.
Sonnen was accused of assaulting six people, including a woman, and allegedly strangled another person.
'The American Gangster' was eventually charged with one felony battery by strangulation and 10 misdemeanor battery charges, which were later reduced to six.
Given Chael Sonnen's recent troubles with the law, it will be interesting to see what the outcome of the recent allegations will be.
Chael Sonnen believes Jamahal Hill could be a "problem" for Glover Teixeira
Jamahal Hill and Glover Teixeira will compete for the UFC light heavyweight title in Brazil at UFC 283 next month following the madness that unfolded at UFC 282. Jan Blachowicz took on Magomed Ankalaev for the 205lbs title, but the fight was declared a split-draw, leaving the title vacant.
Dana White then dropped a bombshell during the post-event press conference, announcing that Hill would fight Teixeira at UFC 283 for the title in January.
The Brazilian was initially meant to feature at UFC 282 against Jiri Prochazka. But Prochazka's last-minute withdrawal due to injury meant that a short-term replacement was needed, and Teixeira declined to fight Ankalaev on a week's notice.
The newly announced light heavyweight title fight will see a clash of styles, with Hill relying on his slick boxing skills, while his opponent will look to impose himself with grappling.
Chael Sonnen recently broke the fight down on his YouTube channel and said the following:
"It should favor Glover, but there's a lot of other numbers that don't. Youth alone is a meaningful number, Jamahal Hill's reach. Jamahal Hill is a problem, he is a real problem."
