"I don't give a sh*t" - When Dana White was unbothered over losing UFC fans due to friendship with Donald Trump
The idea of potentially losing fans for being friends with Donald Trump has never bothered UFC boss Dana White. The former president helped the UFC get venues during its initial years when MMA found little to no support in the mainstream.
Trump's political views have earned many followers and critics in recent years. While that could negatively impact the UFC's following given his close relationship with the former president, White boldly said he didn't care about such fans.
In February 2020, White accompanied Trump to a rally in Colorado. During an interview with TMZ Sports, the UFC CEO said it was intended to be a friendly meeting and not a campaigning trip. He added:
"I can't say this enough. This guy, President Trump is such a good friend and such a loyal, amazing guy, man. He's a great guy. He's been a friend of mine for a long time."
When asked to share his thoughts on potentially losing fans for being friends with the former President, White responded:
"I couldn't give a sh** [about losing fans over my friendship with Donald Trump]. If you don't like me because I am friends with this guy. That's your problem, not mine."

What did Dana White say about Donald Trump at the Colorado rally in February 2020?
Dana White has often acknowledged Donald Trump's assistance in helping the UFC survive a tough phase in the early 2000s. However, in the former president's rally in Colorado in 2020, White shed light on the caring side of Trump's personality.
Adding that their friendship strengthened after Trump became president of the United States, White said:
"This guy is so loyal and such a good friend. When I met him on Air Force One, the first thing he said to me is, 'How is your family?' I see a lot of things from Mr. Trump that the public doesn't see. People who surround me, see how this man treats me and other people he's friends with. He's a fighter.... He loves this country, he's doing great things for this country."
