Joe Rogan is a fan of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
While Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are the lead runners for the 2024 elections, Joe Rogan has endorsed his support for independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy. Speaking with Bob Gymlan on his podcast, the UFC commentator said:
"That’s politics. They do it on the left, they do it on the right. They gaslight you, they manipulate you, they promote narratives, and the only one who is not doing that is Robert F. Kennedy Jr. I am a fan."
He added:
"He’s the only one that makes sense to me. He doesn’t attack people, he attacks actions and ideas, but he’s much more reasonable and intelligent. I mean, the guy was an environmental lawyer and he cleaned up the East River. He’s a legitimate guy."
The politician responded to Rogan's endorsement on X:
"From one “legitimate” guy to another, thank you @JoeRogan for always putting substance first... This election is not about left vs. right. It's about Americans of goodwill coming together to end the tyranny of corruption in our system – so that we once again have a government and economy that works for all people. Let's do this."
Jon Jones may retire from UFC after Stipe Miocic fight
There is still no confirmed date for Jon Jones' UFC return but he has said multiple times that it would be against Stipe Miocic. In a recent reply to a fan on Instagram Jones stated that he plans on retiring in 2024.
"Fun fact after this year Jon Jones will never have to work again, retired at age 37. Winning."
If Jones truly retires this year, he will not fight the interim UFC heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall, who has been waiting and asking for the matchup for over a year now.
Dana White had previously said that the winner of Jones vs. Miocic would fight Aspinall to unify the UFC heavyweight title.
However, he recently told Kevin Iole that Aspinall "doesn't deserve anything" but being UFC veterans, Jones and Miocic, whoever wins, "owe it to Aspinall to fight him and give him the opportunity that they've been given."
Canelo Alvarez is scared of David Benavidez, says Oscar De La Hoya
Canelo Alvarez asking for $150-200 million to fight is a sign that he is scared to face David Benavidez, said Oscar De La Hoya. Speaking with Sean Zittel, the former boxer-turned-promoter said:
"I'm trying to think of an excuse for Canelo of why he doesn't want to fight Benavidez. 200 million dollars? You're crazy. You are crazy. In other words, you don't want to fight him."
