Conor McGregor gives injury update
In a since-deleted tweet, Conor McGregor shared an update on his foot injury that forced him out of UFC 303. He was scheduled to fight Michael Chandler on the card - a fight months in the making.
However, a broken toe rendered him unfit to compete. In subsequent interviews, McGregor revealed that the pain from the broken toe was even worse than the time he snapped his leg against Dustin Poirier.
Replying to a mocking comment by Chandler, McGregor stated:
"Hey bum beggar. The foot is fully healed."
KSI condemns Jake Paul's win over Mike Perry
Jake Paul has been criticized by many for rehydrating to a much bigger size than his opponents after weighing in for fights, thereby gaining a significant advantage over them. He has been called a "weight bully" by several combat sports personalities, including but not limited to Michael Bisping, Dillon Danis, Josh Thomson, Megan Anderson, and the like.
His longtime rival (and his brother Logan's business partner) KSI joined the gang after Paul's latest fight against Mike Perry. In a sarcastic tweet on Saturday, the YouTuber-turned-boxer wrote:
"Congrats weight bully."
Israel Adesanya shows off insane physique
Israel Adesanya's quest to get the middleweight title back seems to be going well. After sharing videos of intense training, in which he is apparently "hitting like a truck" as per Dan Hooker, the former UFC champion shared a picture of his upper torso, showing off a shredded look.
The caption, "Level: 35" is a reference to his age. He turns 35 years old on Monday, July 22.
Adesanya is going to fight Dricus du Plessis at UFC 305 in Perth, Australia, to reclaim his lost middleweight throne.
