UFC News: Interesting notes from Dana White involving Brock Lesnar
What's the story?
Today, we received an interesting tweet from an ESPN analyst who claims to have had a conversation with UFC President Dana White in regards to several key UFC fighters: The Diaz Brothers, Daniel Cormier and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.
In case you didn't know...
Dana White has been working to get Brock Lesnar back into the UFC, one way or another, but has run into some speed bumps and potential roadblocks along the way in terms of negotiations between him, Lesnar and the WWE. Due to these ongoing negotiations, Brock is yet to step foot back into the Octagon but many feel that it's going to be sooner rather than later before we see Lesnar back in the UFC.
The heart of the matter
We received an interesting tweet today from ESPN analyst, Chamatkar Sandhu who tweeted out the following notes from a conversation with Dana White that reads as follows:
Now, it doesn't seem like much to brag about here or anything super newsworthy, but it does give us all an interesting take on where Dana's head is at during this moment in time, especially as it relates to Brock Lesnar and Brock's willingness to come back to the UFC for (at least) one more fight.
What's next
Brock Lesnar is currently not scheduled for any upcoming UFC or MMA related events at this time, but we will be sure to update you all if anything does pop up. Lesnar is however scheduled to defend his WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble on Sunday, January 27th, from Phoenix against Finn Balor.
