MMA News: Musician Demi Lovato looking for an MMA bout
Pop sensation Demi Lovato is eager to have her first MMA bout according to Unbreakable Performance Center Owner, Jay Glazer.
While speaking to TMZ sport, the part-time Fox analyst Glazer raved about Lovato saying that she throws elbows better than most UFC fighters in the gym. “She is definitely one of our fighters,” he added.
Lovato has been training in mixed martial arts for a year now and intends to bring her skills into a cage. When asked about the pop star’s intention to take part in a sanctioned bout, Glazer said, “She’s brought it up a thousand times.”
Here is Glazer’s entire conversation with TMZ:
Despite having a successful career in music, a switch to MMA might not be too much of a stretch for Lovato, who trains at Glazer’s gym alongside UFC fighters like former Heavyweight champion Chuck Lidell. She also recently suggested a possible change in disciplines in 2017 through a tweet.

The main motive behind her entry into the MMA world is more than money or fame, as the singer is reportedly worth an estimated $30 million and she would likely have to fight in smaller promotions if the move does go through.
TMZ sports also managed to get a peek at the celebrity in training:
No more information about her possible entry has been revealed. Nonetheless, Demi Lovato, who is reportedly linked romantically with Former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold, will surprise the MMA world if she does enter the cage in a sanctioned bout during the coming year; even if it is under a smaller promotion against of fighter on her level.
