MMA News Roundup: Darren Till removed from UFC roster, Andrew Tate denied visitation rights of children, Francis Ngannou predicts Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane
Welcome to today's edition of Sportskeeda's daily MMA News Roundup, where we present the biggest UFC updates and other stories from the world of mixed martial arts.
In today's issue, we talk about Darren Till being cut from the UFC, Francis Ngannou's take on the heavyweight title fight, and more.
#3. Darren Till cut from the UFC
Darren Till's fall from glory has been difficult for MMA fans to watch. He has not been the same since the submission loss to Tyron Woodley. He has suffered five losses in his last six outings, most recently to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 282. Teaming up and training with Khamzat Chimaev did not help him either.
UFC Roster Watch tweeted on Wednesday that Till was removed from the active roster. It was later confirmed by multiple outlets.
Amid speculation of skirmishes with the promotion, Till took to Twitter to clear the air on the matter. He revealed that the UFC did not fire him. Rather, he himself asked to be released from his contract to sort out some personal matters:
"What’s happening everyone, Me, Dana & Hunter are still cool as f*ck. I asked UFC 2 to remove me just 2 sorts some other sh*t for the foreseeable, They happily agreed to release me from the contract which I appreciate. I’m not going anywhere, got big plans to execute & I’ll be back."

#2. Andrew Tate is not allowed to see his kids while in jail
Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate have been in jail for over two months now. Their detention was recently extended to another 30 days. Tate has been sending out tweets during this time, presumably with the help of his legal and PR team.
In his most recent tweet, Tate admitted that he has not been allowed a "single visitation" in the 61 days he spent in jail, not even from his children.
There is no public record of Andrew Tate having any kids. However, he has claimed that he has "double-digit children." In a previous tweet, Tate had claimed that he was allowed five visitors besides his lawyer.
#1. Francis Ngannou gives his final prediction for Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane
At UFC 285, Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane will battle over the heavyweight belt that Francis Ngannou held not too long ago. In a recent interview with 'The Schmo', 'The Predator' gave his prediction for the title fight.
Ngannou said that if Jon Jones is at his best, it could end in a TKO win for the former light heavyweight champion. However, if Jones fights defensively, it might go the distance, Ngannou speculated:
"It depends which Jon Jones is going to be there. Is it going to be the Jon Jones that we know, or just a guy that's there [just] to be there... If Jon Jones shows up, this fight can be a TKO. I think he's gonna take [Gane] down, wrestle and some ground and pound. But it can go the distance if Jon Jones fights defensively. Because then both of them will be defensive fighters. Then it can go the distance."
Ngannou also said in the interview that he had expected Jones to do more when the former light heavyweight champion started taking a stance on fighter pay. However, he was disappointed to see 'Bones' give up the battle.
Furthermore, Ngannou gave an update on his future in MMA.
