MMA News: Conor McGregor doesn't want to fight in Nevada State again!

The Notorious looks down upon Nevada!

One can’t expect havoc not to occur when Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor are in the same room. The UFC 202 press conference took off a wrong turn when the two began tossing bottles at each other which resulted in Nevada State Athletic Commission to take action on the duo.

McGregor has already been granted his share of punishment while Diaz is on the wait. As a result, McGregor set on to take revenge on NSAC.

Dana White took the liberty of explaining the Irishman’s decision on ‘The Herd’ with Colin Cowherd on FS1.

“I wasn’t thrilled about it when it happened, and we did the best we could to contain it at the time, but come on,” White said.

“The other problem with that is Conor McGregor hit me yesterday and said, ‘I don’t ever want to fight in Nevada again. Ever’”

Fight fans throughout the entire state of Nevada will be affected by the decision which sounds ridiculous to White.

“Now how does that make sense for the state of Nevada? That you’re going to try to fine this kid and Nate that much money, it just makes people not want to come fight in out state and that’s not a good thing.”

White does feel that The Notorious one not fighting in Nevada is totally possible, if he, that is McGregor, wishes so.

“Guess what? Conor McGregor doesn’t need Nevada,” White said. “He can fight anywhere. He can fight in Iowa. We can put his fight on an island off the coast of anywhere. This makes no sense for the state. It’s just terrible.”

The UFC Featherweight champion has turned out to be the biggest draw in the company’s history, and has lately been granted everything he has desired.

First he wanted a shot at then lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos’ Lightweight belt, but when RDA pulled out he picked Nate Diaz instead.

After his loss in the Diaz fight, instead of going back to the 145 pounds division, he returned hell-bent on a rematch fight with Diaz which was also given to him. As a result putting the featherweight division on the hold for the second time.

Now it’s been revealed that he has some personal issues that he is battling and soon might take a possible break from the sport, hence he has been granted a second opportunity to fight for the lightweight title at UFC 205, at the cost of initial number one contender Khabib Nurmagomedov’s title shot.

So it won’t be surprising if Conor won’t be headlining a card in Nevada ever again.
