“A good name for the gym” - Adrian Lee on the re-opening of Prodigy Training Center in honor of late sister Victoria

Adrian Lee believes he and his family came up with the perfect name to reopen their family gym while honoring his older sister, Victoria Lee.

On December 26, 2022, the Lee family suffered a tragedy that no family ever should. 18-year-old MMA prospect Victoria Lee tragically passed away. Reeling from the loss, the family closed United MMA Hawaii.

A year and a half later, the gym is set to reopen as the Prodigy Training Center, a tribute to Victoria who was known by fight fans as 'The Prodigy.'

"Well, the name Prodigy Training Center was actually my brother and his wife's idea," Adrian Lee said in an interview with ONE. "We were all just trying to brainstorm what would be a good name for the gym. Once we heard that, we were pretty set up."

Meeting Lee at ONE 167 will be another debutant with something to prove — Antonio Mammarella.

As an amateur, Mammarella went 5-3 competing under the 3° Trofeo Italiano di MMA banner. In December 2023, he made his pro debut, scoring a second-round knockout against Aremiti Tinirau.

Will the Lee family legacy continue to reign supreme when the 18-year-old Adrian Lee makes his pro MMA debut on June 7?
