"A kick to remember" - Relive how Tawanchai sent Jamal Yusupov limping in defeat with one sniper-like shot

Tawanchai PK Saenchai boasts one of the nastiest kicking games in combat sports.

Unfortunately for Jamal Yusupov, he learned this painful lesson the hard way when they crossed paths at ONE Fight Night 7 last year.

At the time, 'Yeneceri' racked off three straight victories under the ONE banner and earned himself a shot at the dominant featherweight Muay Thai world champion.

The Thai superstar was loose as soon as the bell rang and fired off a plethora of push kicks and leg kicks.

Turns out, Tawanchai was simply measuring the distance and finding the right timing to land his kill shot.

In one swift motion, the 25-year-old striking genius uncorked a brutal left kick that landed cleanly on the meat of Yusupov's thigh.

The damage was evident right away after the three-rime Russian kickboxing champion limped in agony to the ropes. It was clear he couldn't continue and the referee put an end to the challenger's suffering and awarded the champ the 49-second TKO victory.

ONE Championship recently reposted that incredible highlight, reminding fans just how devastating Tawanchai can be.

Tawanchai will look to keep his crown against Superbon at ONE 170

Tawanchai and fellow Thai wrecking machine Superbon's five-round slugfest last year was so epic that fans have long been requesting a do-over.

The fighting gods have answered our plea, as these two masters of 'The Art of Eight Limbs' will open 2025 with a bang in the main event of ONE 170 on Jan. 24 at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Tawanchai was tested like never before by the interim featherweight kickboxing world champion, who traded fire with fire for the full five rounds.

The PK Saenchai athlete barely escaped with the majority decision victory and kept his 26 pounds of gold.
