"A model just beat your a**" - Dakota Ditcheva shares brutally honest reaction to beating Taila Santos for $1 million PFL title-winning prize
At the 2024 PFL World Championship, Dakota Ditcheva upheld her perfect record in the women's flyweight division. 'Dangerous' advanced to the finals by defeating Jean Bishop, Chelsea Hackett, and Lisa Mauldin, and won the PFL flyweight world championship title and $1 million after TKOing Taila Santos in the second round.
In her post-fight interview with Dan Hardy, the English flyweight took a dig at Santos for her previous comments, saying:
"Right from the beginning of this season, if I got her in the first round, I would’ve done the same thing. She’s been saying, ‘She’s just a barbie, she should be a model’, well a model just beat your a** in round two, so shut up."
She then commended her foe, adding:
"She is a tough girl but I knew what I was capable of. I worked so hard my team knew what I was capable of. Right from the beginning of this season if I had got her in the first round I would have done the same thing.”

Fans witnessed 'Dangerous' dominate the bout with a barrage of leg kicks from the first round. Although Santos managed a takedown in the opening frame, it was insufficient as her English counterpart quickly stood up and caught her off-guard with a front kick.
With a blow to the face and many strikes to the body in the second round, Ditcheva's onslaught forced the referee to intervene as Santos crumbled to the canvas.
