"Actors" - Bantamweight contender accuses Henry Cejudo and Aljamain Sterling of faking a beef following backstage altercation at UFC 285
UFC welterweight Marlon 'Chito' Vera hit out at Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo for their 'fake' altercation backstage at UFC 285.
Sterling is expected to defend his bantamweight title for a third time against the returning Cejudo later this year. A bout between the pair is reportedly being worked on by the UFC brass and will take place on May 6 at UFC 288.
During the video, both men are held back by UFC security and Cejudo can be heard shouting that he's going to "bury" Sterling:
"May 6. I'm gonna bury your a**. May 6 I'm gonna bury you, you're corny a**. Shut up! Shut up! Get out of here, Get out of here!"
After the video of the pair went viral, Marlon Vera hit out at them on social media. The No.4 ranked bantamweight star responded to the video and labeled them both as "actors," suggesting that their beef with one another isn't genuine.

'Funk Master' and 'Triple C' have been at each other's throats since Henry Cejudo announced he would be returning to the USADA testing pool last year. The pair have often traded blows on social media and during interviews, but their backstage altercation this weekend appeared to show they can't wait to get their hands on one another.
Henry Cejudo advises Sean O'Malley to stay ready
Henry Cejudo has asked Sean O'Malley to be ready on short notice should Aljamain Sterling withdraw from their potential future bout.
O'Malley is currently the No.1 ranked bantamweight and is expected to take on the winner of Sterling versus Cejudo later this year. With that in mind, 'Triple C' believes there's a good chance he will face 'Sugar' earlier than expected.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Henry Cejudo stated that he believes 'Aljo' is going to do whatever he can to avoid fighting him. In response, the former UFC double champ has asked O'Malley to be ready for a short-notice interim title bout, should that happen.
"I'm looking at putting somebody to sleep on May 6 and I hope that Aljamain doesn't pull out. And I will tell you this, Sean if you're watching, I have a feeling Aljamain's gonna pull out.
"I could just sense it man. He doesn't wanna fight me, he wants to continue keep enjoying his belt. Like, he wants to parade it forever and fight the best matchups for him. So, if you want a crack at the title, I would tell you to reconsider and get ready man."
