Adin Ross asks Dana White who he thinks is best pound-for-pound fighter of all time: "Hands down, no doubt about it, no debating"
Adin Ross recently asked Dana White who he considers to be the best pound-for-pound fighter of all time in the world currently. The UFC CEO didn't take very long to answer as he believes it is a question that doesn't require any debate.
The pound-for-pound discussion has always been a topic that has been debated among the MMA community as many have their own criteria on what makes a fighter truly deserving of that label. There have been several fighters that have made strong arguments, especially when they have moved up in weight and won championships in a second division.
During a recent live stream on his Kick channel, Ross asked the UFC CEO who he believed was the best pound-for-pound fighter of all time. Without hesitation, White named Jon Jones as the best and even went as far as mentioning that he would be the one walking out if he was in a room with others who fans consider as the best. He said:
"The best fighter ever is Jon Jones. Hands down, no doubt about it, no debating...Yeah, 100%. You put anybody in a room with Jon Jones, he walks out every time."
Check out Dana White's comments below:
Dana White has remained consistent with his views about Jon Jones being the top pound-for-pound fighter
Dana White has always remained consistent with his viewpoint of Jon Jones not only being the top pound-for-pound fighter in the world actively competing, but also the greatest fighter of all time.
The UFC CEO has even expressed his anger on certain occasions when 'Bones' is not ranked No.1 on the pound-for-pound rankings. Most recently, White sounded off when speaking with Kevin Iole after Jones was ranked No.3 behind Alex Pereira and Islam Makhachev. He said:
"Jon Jones is ranked No.3 pound-for-pound in the world. That's the most f***ing ridiculous, embarrassing, stupid, know nothing about f***ing fighting ranking of all f***ing time."
