Adrian Lee credits MMA for making him wise beyond his years: “Helps me have an open mind”
Adrian Lee was born and raised in a martial arts family, and that's the reason why he matured beyond his age.
Although he had pursued other passions in his earlier stage, the youngest Lee felt that mixed martial arts had become his calling, and he is now grateful for the sport, which made him a much better person and athlete.
Lee spoke to ONE Championship about how training and competing in MMA changed his perspective and way of life.
“I think that the maturity that MMA brings me definitely has helped evolve and shape me as a person, and definitely helps me have an open mind and understand things better.”
Next up, Adrian Lee will face another tough challenge in Nico Cornejo at the stacked ONE 168: Denver card when ONE returns to the United States for the second time on September 8.
The massive spectacle will be aired live in U.S. primetime and absolutely free for all active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America.
Adrian Lee hyper-focused on his next matchup against Nico Cornejo in Denver
As the youngest phenom from the touted Lee family, Adrian Lee is extremely focused on the task at hand – ahead of his matchup against a tough fighter in Nico Cornejo at ONE 168: Denver.
At the previous event, ONE 167, he made a victorious professional MMA debut with a second-round submission over Antonio Mammarella, and the teen sensation is now aiming for another win to keep his slate clean on September 6.
Lee is living proof that his family legacy will continue to soar, and he has all the time in the world to live up to all expectations that might come his way after witnessing firsthand the accomplishments of his older siblings.
