Adrian Lee on having two-division MMA champ Christian Lee as a brother and a training partner: "I'm so lucky"
Rising star Adrian Lee admits being brothers with a multi-division MMA world champion feels like a cheat code at times. After all, he has access to a world-class training partner and gets coached by one of the brightest young minds in the fight game today, Christian Lee.
In an interview with Cageside Press, the youngest of the famed Lee brood talked about how fortunate he is to be taken under the wing of 'The Warrior':
"I'm so lucky to train with the double-champ every day. It was really quite the experience."
While Christian Lee has been away from the Circle during his MMA hiatus, he used the time to make sure his little brother gets the proper guidance for his professional debut.
Being trained by the lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion definitely has its perks, as the younger Lee didn't look like a neophyte at all in his trial by fire at ONE 167 last June.
'The Phenom' lived up to his nickname and demolished Antonio Mammarella, showcasing a well-rounded arsenal eerily reminiscent of his world champion sibling.
The 18-year-old prodigy will return at ONE 168: Denver, where he'll slug it out with Nico Cornejo at Ball Arena on September 6.
With big bro watching his back, the sky is certainly the limit for Adrian Lee.

Not one to rest on his laurels, Lee isn't the type to let his guard down after a remarkable start to his MMA career.
While the Singaporean-American was happy to get his hand raised, he also thinks he could avoided some lapses and performed better.
The Prodigy Training Center affiliate said in the same interview:
"However, when I watched back the fight, there are things I wished I did differently. But it's stuff I can improve on."
