Adriano Moraes looking ready for striking war at ONE Fight Night 10

Former 3-time ONE flyweight world champion Adriano Moraes is amped for his main event fight at ONE Fight Night 10. 'Mikinho' will be headlining ONE Championship's first live event in front of an American crowd. As one of the top world champions in the organization's early years, this is a huge deal for the Brazilian MMA star.

Across the Circle from him will be reigning and defending ONE flyweight world champ and MMA all-time great Demetrious Johnson. The May 5 clash is perhaps the most intriguing trilogy bout in the promotion's history. One can even say that it's the most important rubber in the division's history.

In a recent Instagram post by Moraes 'Mikinho' looked absolutely jacked and ready for a striking war with his rival on May 5.

Both Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson have a win over the other. They're also the first men to knock the other out. Both KOs came by way of crushing knee strikes to the jaw. The story couldn't have been written any better as we get closer and closer to the tipping point in Denver, CO.

Fans react to huge size difference between Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson

In a recent Instagram video posted by ONE Championship, the martial arts promotion pointed out a huge size difference between the two headliners of ONE Fight Night 10. Fans couldn't get over the glaring difference:

Some of the fan comments include one from @rjmcdaddy, who said what was in all our minds:

"They look two weight classes apart"

@ryanboers_ hinted that the size disparity may have eventually influenced the betting line:

"Sports books had him as the underdog too"

@carlos9860lopez, despite obviously exaggerating, emphasized the greatness of DJ's KO win in the second fight:

"Bro (Johnson) knocked out a lightweight"

As ONE doesn't allow weight cutting, Demetrious Johnson was forced to fight 10 pounds heavier than his usual 125 pound-frame in the UFC. That meant fighting significantly bigger opponents like 'Mikinho'.

In both their fights, Adriano Moraes used every bit of his size advantage over DJ by putting him on his back and controlling him with powerful grappling. His overwhelming use of size and significant power got him the KO win in the first bout.

'Mighty Mouse', being the smaller fighter, used his wit, timing and speed to gain success over his bigger opponent. He then scored a beautiful flying knee knockout over the bewildered Adriano Moraes in the second bout.

Come May 5, the two MMA greats will get to settle the score. ONE Fight Night 10 airs live from 1stBank Center in Denver, CO, and can be seen live and for free by North American Prime Video subscribers.
