“Aggression meets aggression” - Jarred Brooks ready to go toe to toe with tough Cuban Gustavo Balart

Jarred Brooks is ready for his comeback. The brazen American MMA superstar is only days away from his next challenge: to claim the interim title and secure a rematch with ONE strawweight MMA world champion Joshua Pacio.

In order to do that, he has to take out a strong contender in Cuba's Gustavo Balart at the main event of ONE Fight Night 24 on Friday, August 2, airing live in U.S. primetime from the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

'The Monkey God' indeed has some tricks up in his sleeves when he locks horns with his rival, as he shared with ONE Championship ahead of this pivotal match:

"I think that I have like a Jedi mind trick energy type of feel when I fight fighters. I make them calm down with their body with my body language and how fast I might come at them. Aggression meets aggression."

He added:

"Let's see who's the bigger dog right now. Calm the f*** down. We'll see if this ends up being a race and then I'll get him in that corner. And then when I have that little dog in the corner, he's done."

ONE Fight Night 24 is available live and absolutely free for all Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Jarred Brooks totally focused on the belt at ONE Fight Night 24

Jarred Brooks is going all in on his next world championship match against Gustavo Balart.

The American athlete wants to bounce back from his disqualification loss in the hands of Joshua Pacio, and he has a new mindset as he heads into Friday's main event tilt.

He told Sportskeeda MMA in another interview:

"I have nothing to lose. I have nothing to worry about heading into this fight. I just want to go out there and put on a how and I want to be a statement to the people in America as well, that you can do anything in the world."
