Alex Pereira has made it clear he intends to remain as active as possible, after recently posting an Instagram story that joked about his fighting activity.
'Poatan' is currently preparing for his UFC 307 clash against Khalil Rountree in which he will put his light heavyweight title on the line. The bout will also mark the Brazilian's third appearance in the octagon this year, having previously faced and defeated both Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka on short notice in the last few months.
Ahead of his bout against Rountree, Pereira shared a story on his Instagram, poking fun at his willingness to accept short notice fights:
"Injured? We'll fight for you! Call toll free. 1-(800) 555-Chama. Pereira & Pereira"

Aljamain Sterling has provided some context to the heated confrontation he was caught having with Sean O'Malley fans during the UFC 306 fight week.
'Funk Master', who is close friends with Merab Dvalishvili and cornered him at the PPV, discussed what happened during a recent interview with MMA Today. According to Sterling, the group of fans initially escalated the conflict by mocking him for his knockout loss to O'Malley at UFC 292. He said:
โWhen Merab went on the bus after the Friday evening face-off, we saw a whole bunch of people waving him down, so he gets off the bus to go over. Now, his minions Sch*tty and the other skinny twig were on the other side. I see these guys screaming and yelling, coming all the way back over to be a**hole."

#1 Belal Muhammad receives honor of having a day named after him in Chicago
UFC welterweight champion and proud Chicago native Belal Muhammad was recently honored for his title triumph.
'Remember the Name' shared a picture on his Instagram, which revealed he had been given the honor of having Sept. 20 named after him. The date in Chicago was now to be considered 'Belal Muhammad Day', a day of celebration for the champion.
Muhammad shared the news on Instagram and captioned the post:
"REMEMBER THE DATE Honored and blessed Chicago we got our own day โฆlove my city ๐๐๐"
