Alex Volkanovski predicts Leon Edwards' "aggression" to take over in UFC 304 title clash against Belal Muhammad: "He's going to let his hands go"
Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad are set to face off for the welterweight title in the main event of UFC 304 on 27 July. With their first fight ending with a brutal eye poke, at UFC Vegas 21, both athletes will be eager to prove themselves the superior fighter.
On paper the title clash is a classic 'striker vs. grappler' matchup, but 'Rocky' has shown impressive wrestling skills, whilst Muhammad secured a TKO finish in his second to last fight, showcasing an improved striking arsenal.
Former featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski recently broke down the UFC 304 main card. He predicted the welterweight king to be more aggressive than usual against 'Remember The Name', and stated that Edwards will illustrate his incredible striking skillset.
'The Great' said this:
"I thought [Edwards] was quite aggressive in their first fight, and I think we're going to see that again. I feel like Leon Edwards is gonna feel like he can be a bit more aggressive with someone like Belal... I think he's gonna let his hands go, which is gonna make him a lot more dangerous. 'Cause when he does let his hands go, he's good. Leon Edwards is really good. Even just watching his training, hitting pads. You can see there's power in his kicks."

Leon Edwards shares definitive prediction for clash with Belal Muhammad
Leon Edwards will once again fight in front of a home crowd when he faces Belal Muhammad in a highly anticipated main event clash at UFC 304.
Their first bout ended with Muhammad on the receiving end of a brutal eye-poke, but both men have remained undefeated since, at 4-0 and 5-0 respectively, and will be searching for a more conclusive finish when they meet again.
'Rocky' will be hoping to successfully defend his welterweight throne for a third time when he faces 'Remember The Name'. Ahead of their title clash, Edwards was interviewed by talkSPORT MMA, where he shared the following prediction:
"I win. I feel like I stop him in the third [round]. I truly believe that I am just skill-for-skill better than him. I've had a little feel of him, in the first fight, so going in to the second fight I'm more confident. I know how he felt in within the clinch, within his punches and everything. I'm excited for it."
