Alexis Nicolas believes Regian Eersel rematch will end with one of them being knocked out: "You sleep or I sleep"
French kickboxing standout Alexis Nicolas is certain his scrap alongside Regian Eersel at ONE Fight Night 25 will end in highlight-reel fashion.
The ONE lightweight kickboxing world champion puts his gold on the line against the very man he took it from in the headline attraction of the Oct. 4 American primetime bill, which emanates live from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
As much as he aims to ace 'The Immortal' once more and send him crashing to the canvas inside the distance, Alexis Nicolas is not sleeping on Eersel's vicious knockout power at all.
When asked about a prediction for their world title redo, Nicolas told ONE Championship:
"This fight will be a very crazy fight. You sleep or I sleep. In the fight, [I don't think] we will go five rounds."
Alexis Nicolas confident he will enjoy another victorious outing against Regian Eersel at ONE Fight Night 25
Despite showing some concern for Eersel's striking arsenal — one that has helped the Suriname icon to 27 knockouts in his decorated career — Alexis Nicolas is very confident he has the key to unlock another door to victory over the ONE lightweight Muay Thai world champion.
The Frenchman has yet to taste defeat in his professional career (24-0), and he guarantees it'll stay the same come fight night.
On his advantages over Eersel, the Mahmoudi Gym standout noted:
"I have more precision, and it looks harder because you trade punches. However, if you know, it's not the same, I'm like I got a lot of precision, and I touched him better, and it will be the same for the next fight."
ONE Fight Night 25, headlined by Eersel and Nicolas' ONE lightweight kickboxing world title matchup, will be available to active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America live in U.S. primetime for free.
