Ali Abdelaziz slams journalists for ranking Renato Moicano outside the top-ten in UFC's lightweight rankings despite dominant display in Paris
MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz doesn't appear too pleased with UFC lightweight Renato Moicano's ranking in the promotion. Abdelaziz uploaded a post on social media where he criticized journalists for keeping Moicano in the 11th spot in the lightweight rankings, despite him scoring an impressive victory at UFC Paris.
The MMA manager claimed that although he did not have a personal connection with the Brazilian, the people who gave him the ranking did not belong in the sport of MMA.
"I don't really know Moicano and I don't really know him, I have no interest in his career but those people who ranked him at 11, they should not be allowed to even watch MMA on TV."

Moicano recently took on Benoit Saint Denis in a five-round main event on Sept. 28 at the Accor Arena in Paris, France. Prior to the fight, the 35-year-old was ranked 11 in the 155-pound rankings.
The Brazilian went on to have an impressive outing as he scored a TKO victory after the end of the second round. With the win, Moicano extended his winning streak to 4-0.
Despite his efforts, Moicano failed to secure a 'Performance of the Night' bonus for the UFC Paris card. Later, it came to light that Moicano had failed to enter the top-10 lightweight rankings despite his victorious outing.
Ali Abdelaziz speaks about the possibility of Alex Pereira vs. Magomed Ankalaev
Ali Abdelaziz believes that a title fight between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev would become a reality in 2025. The MMA manager did an interview with Brett Okamoto for ESPN MMA, where he mentioned Merab Dvalishvili as an example in order to highlight the likelihood of Ankalaev getting a title shot.
"Magomed Ankalaev will handle business, Alex Pereira will handle business and these two guys will fight in 2025. If Merab got a title shot, anybody can get a title shot. Let's be real, Merab is not Dana White's favorite person."

Pereira will defend his belt against Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307 on Oct. 5. Ankalaev, on the other hand, will go up against Aleksandar Rakic at UFC 308 on Oct. 26.
