"Nothing more powerful in my book" - Aljamain Sterling finds himself in Conor McGregor's latest tweet about haters
A recent tweet from Conor McGregor on the topic of 'hate' seemed to resonate with Aljamain Sterling.
Sterling has had a unique path to the title, having won the belt in controversial fashion. He is the only champion in UFC history to win the belt via disqualification. When Sterling won the title, many didn't recognize him as the 'true champion'.
However, 'Funk Master' did not let their opinions affect him and he adopted a full-on heel persona. Once this happened, the hate began pouring in. It is something that the current 135lbs champion used as motivation during the preparations for his rematch with Yan and his title defense against TJ Dillashaw.
Sterling recently quote-tweeted McGregor's post that talked about hate.
McGregor tweeted the following:
"Let their hate motivate"
Sterling then tweeted this:
"Nothing more powerful in my book"

Many believe that Aljamain Sterling put on an act for the fight to be stopped and that he could have continued. Since that night, 'Funk Master' has been slowly winning back his fanbase through dominant performances and a genuine nature.
