Aljamain Sterling reacts to viral prison video: "I think I've done seen everything now"
Aljamain Sterling has taken to X/Twitter to share his thoughts on a video, that has since gone viral, of a female prison officer having sex with an inmate inside HM Prison Wandsworth in Wandsworth, South West London, England. The officer, identified as Linda De Sousa Abreu by her sister, has been arrested.
Naturally, the nature of the video has shocked the internet, leading to public outrage in England. On social media, it caught the attention of top-ranked UFC featherweight Sterling, who did not hold back his astonishment over what can now occur inside prisons.
"They having flings in prison cells now??? Man, I think I've done seen everything now"
The prison officer, whose real name was revealed by her sister Andreina, quit her job in the wake of the scandal, but is now facing criminal consequences for her actions. A report from Daily Mail also reveals that De Sousa Abreu is married and previously appeared in a documentary about non-monogamous couples.
Needless to say, her conduct as a prison officer has left the former UFC bantamweight champion without words. Sterling is an active X/Twitter user, occasionally using the platform to either take aim at other fighters he hopes to face or share his thoughts on a range of random topics.
For now, though, he will be gearing up for a potential featherweight title eliminator with undefeated Russian wrestler, Movsar Evloev, with whom he has had a recent social media back-and-forth. Unfortunately for either man, the UFC has not made any official announcements regarding their upcoming bouts.
Aljamain Sterling isn't the only UFC fighter to react to recent viral internet content
While Aljamain Sterling has spoken on the prison officer video, another ex-UFC champion, a two-division in one fact, recently expressed interest in another viral video. Conor McGregor asked, in a since-deleted tweet, about the woman in the viral 'Hawk Tuah' video, which has drawn a tremendous amount of attention.
The woman, whose real name is Hailey Welch, became an interest of the Irishman's, as he wondered if she had been located. However, he did so on his own, with the pair now following each other on Instagram.
