Aljamain Sterling scoffs at paid X user after being warned of Movsar Evloev: "Seems like you’re making a great living doing it"

Aljamain Sterling, the former UFC bantamweight champion, is set to face Movsar Evloev at UFC 310 on Dec. 8 at T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, United States. Ahead of the clash, Sterling got involved in a war of words with a fan on social media and accused him of being a paid user.

An X user declared that Evloev is "lame" but will still dominate Sterling in their bout at UFC 310. Sterling took notice of the tweet and in his reply, slammed the fan. He wrote:

“You getting paid for all that gargling?? Seems like you’re making a great living doing it.”

Sterling vs. Evloev was originally slated for UFC 307 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The 34-year-old had to pull out of the bout due to an injury he suffered during a training session.

Sterling made the move up to featherweight following his loss to Sean O'Malley, and in his debut at 145 pounds, he faced Calvin Kattar at UFC 300. The American delivered a dominant performance and won the bout by unanimous decision. The clash against Evloev will mark his second fight at 145 pounds.

Aljamain Sterling claims that he can neutralize the reigning featherweight champion

Aljamain Sterling believes that if he can get past Movsar Evloev, he will surely be in the conversation for the next title shot against reigning featherweight champion, Ilia Topuria. Topuria delivered a spectacular performance at UFC 308 against Max Holloway and became the first person to knock Holloway out in the UFC.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel, Sterling discussed the strategy he would employ to overpower 'El Matador' if they were to square off against each other. The American asserted:

"If I were to fight him [Topuria], you know, God willing, Inshallah, I beat Movzar [Evloev] and do get the crack, I do think I have a great style to neutralize his offense. Bro, most of these guys are striking with him. I ain't doing that, bro. We sitting there looking for our takedown, then we're gonna make it a grappling match. I'm trying to get the dub, I'm not trying to get my head and my brain sent into the next dimension again."
