"You just forgot your floaty’s" - Aljamain Sterling brutally mocks potential rival Henry Cejudo after 'Triple C' shares a doctored image of 'Funk Master' and Merab Dvalishvili holding hands
Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo have gone back and forth online since 'Funk Master' defended his bantamweight belt at UFC 280.
Cejudo has been teasing a UFC comeback almost since he retired, and rumors of a bout between him and Sterling are circling. 'Triple C' called for 'Funk Master' to sign the fight contract following Sterling's win over TJ Dillashaw in Abu Dhabi. As of yet, nothing official has been confirmed.
Cejudo recently taunted Sterling online by posting an edited photo of 'Funk Master' and teammate and friend Merab Dvalishvili holding hands.
"See you're really enjoying it."

Aljamain Sterling replied by reminding Cejudo that he was also in the photo, poking fun at 'Triple C's' diminutive stature:
"You were actually there bro. You just forgot your floaty’s"

Sterling's next fight is currently unclear. With Sean O'Malley the No.1-ranked contender right now, a potential fight with 'Sugar' could be made.
However, a clash of wrestling styles may be what the UFC have in mind, meaning that a return to the octagon for 'Triple C' is possible.
Aljamain Sterling thinks the UFC are looking for their "last hope of someone" to beat him
Aljamain Sterling recently appeared on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani to discuss the aftermath of UFC 280 and what's next for him. 'Funk Master' discussed the future of the bantamweight division with Helwani and how confusing it is to keep track of the No.1 contender.
Sterling argued that according to Dan White, the winner of Petr Yan vs. Sean O'Malley was getting the next title shot. However, after the controversial decision, White has discussed bringing Henry Cejudo back for a shot at the 135lbs belt.
'Funk Master' believes they may be turning to 'Triple C' in an attempt to finally dethrone the current bantamweight champion:
"He's supposed to come back and get an immediate title shot after doing what? You know what I mean. Now I almost feel like, and I could be completely wrong, but I almost feel like they're looking for a last hope of someone who can take out Aljamain Sterling."

Aljamain Sterling has now tied the record for most bantamweight title defenses in a row. With a win over Henry Cejudo in a potential fight, 'Funk Master' could break the record in what would be a historic night.
