"All hell broke loose" - Fans loving the rapid explosion of strikes in Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane's ONE debut against Alain Ngalani
ONE heavyweight MMA monster Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane showcased the knockout power he possessed in his hands when he fought Alain Ngalani in his ONE Championship debut at ONE: Unbreakable II in January 2021. Kane carefully prodded at Ngalani's defense and suddenly swarmed 'The Panther' before taking him down.
The Senegalese star capitalized on Ngalani being caught off-guard and rained down punches to claim the TKO win.
Watch 'Reug Reug' slowly turn up the heat against Ngalani, which ONE shared on YouTube:
Fans reacted to Kane's power in the comments section:
"Dude was getting smashed in the head. It was over."
"Pretty slow, then all hell broke loose. Nice."
"Monsters."
"He was getting bombed on his head. Unprotected strikes."
"Champion of Senegal."
Kane has since tallied five MMA victories with three finishes under the ONE banner, including a hard-fought win over 17-time BJJ world champion Marcus 'Buchecha' Almeida in August 2023.
The 32-year-old's focus now is on winning the ONE heavyweight MMA world championship from three-division MMA king Anatoly Malykhin at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
'Reug Reug' weary of Anatoly Malykhin's trash talk
Oumar Kane is at the point in his rivalry with Anatoly Malykhin where he prefers to let his hands do the talking instead of having an extended verbal sparring match.
Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda MMA, Kane said:
"I'm ready. Yeah, I'm ready for everything. But this guy, he's talking b*llsh*t. I don't know. He's not going that fast. This guy's talking too much. I'm ready for everything. Inshallah."
