“All tried, all tested” - Liam Harrison shows his perfect one-shot lead hook counter finisher
Liam Harrison may be deep into his training camp, but he always remembers to share some of his best tricks with anyone who has the slightest interest in martial arts.
The British Muay Thai icon is one of the most learned strikers in the history of Muay Thai, and he'll often share his secrets on Instagram.
His most recent instructional was his patented lead hook counter that he used to devastating effect during his early years of fighting in Thailand.
Liam Harrison posted on Instagram:
"All tried, all tested at the highest level."
The short instructional showed Harrison demonstrating how to use his trademark lead hook as a perfect countershot for a one-shot knockout.
He said:
"You move forward, so as you come down here, all that power [is going to land]."
Harrison used his terrifying power across three decades to collect 90 career wins and eight world titles.
'Hitman' now has to use that same one-shot power when he faces Thai legend Seksan at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena.
Despite having fought some of the best Thai fighters ever, including the iconic Saenchai, Seksan was the one Muay Thai artist who's eluded Harrison.
Nevertheless, the two toughest strikers from the 2000s are on a head-on collision when ONE Championship makes its live return to the United States later this year.

Liam Harrison says his call-outs of Seksan were borne out of respect and admiration
While some fighters have animosity as their base for calling out opponents, Liam Harrison is the complete opposite regarding his challenge to Seksan.
The 38-year-old told Sky Sports MMA Club that whenever he called out Seksan wasn't because he was taunting his fellow legend, but it was a way for him to show his admiration for 'The Man Who Yields To No One'.
"Everyone wants to see me and Seksan. I think that would be really amazing. Like I said before, I wanted that Seksan fight. I sort of called him out but not in hatred or disrespect, it’s been out of love and admiration. He’s been my hero for years and he will be my hero, during, before and after that fight. I think he and I can create something really special for the fans."
