"Always about working hard" - Jo Nattawut leaving no stone unturned for Tawanchai rematch at ONE 167
ONE Championship's next numbered card on June 7, ONE 167, will feature a handful of cannot-miss bouts across the card. The main event featuring 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut, however, will be one surely deserving of top billing.
The Thai star will be challenging Tawanchai PK Saenchai for his ONE featherweight Muay Thai world championship and is confident that their bout will have him leaving the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, with his hand raised.
In a conversation with Sportsmanor, the Thai Top Team star gave fans an inside look at how he is preparing for the world title fight:
"First things first, my mindset for this rematch is always about working hard. That's important. That's number one."

Jo Nattawut and Tawanchai first shared the circle in October 2023 when the Thai stars duked it out for the better part of five rounds in a back-and-forth kickboxing war.
Though Nattawut was able to rock Tawanchai with some heavy hits, the featherweight Muay Thai world title was able to edge him out on the scorecards for a unanimous decision victory.

In light of the unfortunate injury that Stamp Fairtex sustained, her bout with Denice Zamboanga over her women's atomweight MMA world title was scrapped. That, in turn, elevated Jo Nattawut and Tawanchai to the top of the ONE 167 card.
Speaking with ONE Championship, the 34-year-old born in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, could not hide his excitement at being given the honor of closing out the show:
"Oh, it's a big card, of course. It's good. To me, it's overall, right. The fights that the fans want to see. The fight card is in the big stadium in Thailand. So, it's nice."
ONE 167 will air live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
