Anatoly Malykhin envisions how his world title defense against ‘Reug Reug’ will end "with a smile"

Reigning and undisputed ONE heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight MMA world champion 'Sladkiy' Anatoly Malykhin of Russia is super confident heading into his next world title defense this weekend, and he has envisioned exactly how it will play out.

The 36-year-old Kemerovo native has been on an absolute tear since joining the world's largest martial arts organization in March 2021, going unbeaten in six fights for ONE Championship, while winning world titles in three different weight classes.

Malykhin is set to defend the heavyweight gold on Friday, and he told ONE Championship what he expects will happen.

The Golden Team representative said:

"The way it is now, excellent, with a smile. I will smile, Mr. Chatri will walk out as usual, and put on me my favorite belt of my favorite league, ONE Championship. My wife will enter the ring to hug me. Johny, my son [will do the same], and that’s it, we are driving to the hotel to eat well, enjoy our time, and go to bed, and then – to Chiang Mai, get a month of rest."

Needless to say, MMA fans from all over the world will be tuning in to catch Malykhin back in action, and against a live opponent at that.
