Anatoly Malykhin takes swipe at ‘Reug Reug’ ahead of heavyweight MMA clash: “He has never been in real fights”

Reigning and undisputed ONE heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight MMA world champion 'Sladkiy' Anatoly Malykhin of Russia is not impressed by upcoming opponent Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane of Senegal.

Malykhin does not think 'Reug Reug' belongs in the same ring as him, as he believes the Senegalese wrestling star lacks the heart to compete at the highest level.

Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Malykhin says he doesn't see a real fighter in 'Reug Reug', and will make quick work of his foe come fight night.

The 36-year-old Golden Team representative said:

"The first reaction [to the Reug Reug fight] was it’s going to be easy money. He’s a fitness fighter, a fighter who lacks professional coaches, a person who trains in a fitness gym, who has never been in real fights. He lost his only real fight with [Kirill] Grishenko, while all other fights were fake fights."

Despite 'Reug Reug' bringing a four-fight winning streak into their highly anticipated showdown, Malykhin is confident of victory and believes he will walk out of the arena with his heavyweight MMA gold intact.

Fans won't have to wait long to see these two in action.
