Michael Bisping claims "better gameplan" was key to Jake Paul's victory over Anderson Silva in recent showdown
Michael Bisping has weighed in with his take on Jake Paul's recent victory against MMA legend Anderson Silva. Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer, faced combat sports icon and former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva in a catchweight (187-pound) professional boxing bout on October 29.
The matchup witnessed the 25-year-old Paul score a knockdown against the 47-year-old Silva and outwork him en route to a unanimous decision win. In an edition of the Believe You Me podcast, former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping lauded Anderson Silva for his performance.
'The Count' suggested that despite Silva being past his athletic prime, significantly older than Paul, and not as experienced in the sport of boxing, he showed glimpses of greatness against 'The Problem Child'. Furthermore, he opined that Paul's better gameplan was the difference-maker in the fight. Bisping stated:
"I thought Anderson, at times, looked really good, and he made Jake miss a lot. But I think Jake just had a better gameplan. He was going forward, landing a couple of shots, and then retreating; which was forcing Anderson to kind of chase him. And then he [Paul] would clinch, he'd tie up, the referee would break them. You know, hey, listen, he dropped him [Silva] in the 'last' round."
Moreover, Michael Bisping shut down rumors that 'The Spider' was paid to lose to Jake Paul:
"No, I don't believe for one second Anderson Silva would throw a fight."

Jake Paul sounds off on Nate Diaz as potential fight looms on the horizon
Back in September of this year, UFC great Nate Diaz bested Tony Ferguson via fourth-round submission in their welterweight (170-pound) bout. Diaz subsequently parted ways with the UFC and expressed his desire to try his hand at boxing.
A potential boxing match between Diaz and Jake Paul has been a hot topic over the past several months. Interestingly, Nate Diaz was in attendance for the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva boxing event. The Stockton native even confronted and slapped a member of Paul's entourage backstage.

Diaz and his team also tussled with Paul's team in another altercation, with projectiles being hurled by both groups.
Take a look at another video of the backstage altercation:
During the post-fight press conference, 'The Problem Child' addressed the backstage incidents. Challenging Diaz to face him in his next boxing match, Paul stated:
"Nate Diaz was here acting like a b**ch. He tried to fight people in the hallway you know. Nate, stop fighting people for free. Let's do it in the ring, okay? I know you are a little slow buddy but it's okay. We can make that fight happen."
