Andrew Tate's views on feminism should not be considered offensive, suggests Sean O'Malley

Sean O'Malley recently shared his thoughts on Andrew Tate's controversial comments on women and feminism. 'Sugar' believes that people have misunderstood some of Tate's more extreme views, and taken them literally when they should be viewed as more tongue in cheek.

'Cobra' is currently in prison in Romania following all allegations of his involvement with human trafficking and connections to organized crime. His rise to prominence, which occurred due to his controversial and viral nature, has temporarily been put on hold while investigations are ongoing.

Sean O'Malley shared his thoughts on Andrew Tate's views during a recent episode of The BROMALLEY Show:

"A lot of girls instantly listen to [Andrew Tate] and get offended and defensive... Those girls shut the f**k up and listen to what he's saying. Because a lot of the things he's describing is how a man thinks whether you like it or not."

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been in jail since December. Their most recent appeal to be released has been denied, meaning that the pair will remain incarcerated for at least another week.

Sean O'Malley has previously had Tate on his podcast, The TimboSugaShow, which 'Sugar' hosts alongside his coach Tim Welch.

Sean O'Malley is eager to fight at International Fight Week in July

Sean O'Malley is all but guaranteed the next shot at the bantamweight title following the title fight between Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo at UFC 288 in May.

'Sugar' is currently the No.2-ranked 135-pound contender, with Merab Dvalishvili one spot ahead of him. However, the Georgian has openly stated that he will not fight Sterling, the current champion, as the pair are close friends and longtime training partners.

O'Malley stated on a recent episode of the TimboSugaShow that he would ideally like to face the winner of Sterling vs. Cejudo at International Fight Week in July. If Sterling wins and opts to move to featherweight, 'Sugar' is targeting a title fight with Dvalishvili, or the winner of next week's Marlon Vera vs. Cory Sandhagen bout:

"Hopefully I can fight on International Fight Week. Jon Jones vs. Stipe [Moicic] in the main event, me vs. Henry or Aljo, or Aljo wins and moves up, then me vs. [the winner or Chito Vera vs. Cory Sandhagen] or me vs. Merab."
