Anthony Joshua breaks silence after his devastating knockout loss to Daniel Dubois: "We got to look at all the positives"
Anthony Joshua recently broke his silence following his devastating knockout loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium this past Saturday. He appeared to be in good spirits and expressed his gratitude to his loyal fans.
There was a lot at stake for 'AJ', especially considering that a win over Dubois could have led to a long awaited lucrative heavyweight clash against Tyson Fury. He had plenty of momentum ahead of the bout as he was coming off his impressive knockout win over former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
Dubois managed to knock 'AJ' down on three occasions during the bout, with the third being a powerful right hook that sealed the win. The 34-year-old didn't let the knockout loss ruin his confidence and handled it well. Joshua posted a video to his X account, where he thanked his fans and mentioned that he still has plenty more fights in his future:
"We got to look at all the positives. That's the mindset and the perspective that we have to have, a positive one always. Look at what we've achieved in the space of 11 years, it's phenomenal. I want to thank every single one of you for riding with me, what a rollercoaster journey. But the only problem is, that it's far from over. We've done it once, we've done it twice, doing it a third time hasn't been easy but I believe it's something I can achieve."
