Anthony Smith details how one of Jamahal Hill's "drunk" teammates made him uncomfortable
Anthony Smith recently detailed an incident where one of Jamahal Hill's teammates put him in an uncomfortable position. Smith noted that Hill's entourage was very well behaved at UFC 283 with the exception of one drunk individual.
According to 'Lionheart', the person in question started celebrating Hill's win in front of Glover Teixeira's wife. Smith also cut the person some slack, stating that he might not have known Teixeira's wife.
'Lionheart' got dragged into the mix when Hill's teammate started crediting him for being a part of the camp. Finding himself in an extremely uncomfortable spot, the UFC light heavyweight contender chose to look away. Smith recently said on Michael Bisping's YouTube channel:
"I think he was speaking to just, like Brazilians but it happened to be right in front of Glover's wife. And then he looks over at me and says 'Anthony you helped with this shit. You helped him. This was you too.' And I was like, I don't wanna be a part of this. What I did for Jamahal wasn't in spite of Glover... It's almost like that guy was pulling me into his bull***t and Glover's wife looked at me and I'm like, 'That's not how it was'...I just turned away and looked away. I was uncomfortable."

Jamahal Hill rallies for Anthony Smith to get title shot next
Jamahal Hill was originally scheduled to face Anthony Smith at a UFC Fight Night in March before 'Sweet Dreams' surprisingly got booked for a title shot at UFC 283. Immediately after the change was made, Hill invited Smith to be a part of his camp.
Smith was even named the backup fighter for the UFC 283 main event for which he missed weight. However, Hill would like for the UFC to overlook the weight miss and grant his training partner another shot at the title. The UFC light heavyweight champion doesn't mind defending the title against his friend.
Hill said in an interview with MMA Junkie:
“Nothing would be happier for my brother to get a chance at gold, even if it is against me. He’s been around for a long time. He’s been working. He had the hiccup where he broke his ankle, something that was out of his control. Aside from that, he’s been killing it. He put away like three straight contenders, up-and-coming guys, hungry guys.”
